Main Experiences:

Mr Rahman receieved his doctoral degree from Helsinki University of Technology (recently known as Aalto University) in 2000. He had been a Docent at Aalto University for more than 10 years. From September 2018, he has been working at Hangzhou Dianzi University as a full Professor.

 

Field of Specialty:  Computational fluid dynamics (CFD), numerical methods, turbulence modeling, large eddy simulation (LES), detached eddy

simulation (DES), scale adaptive simulation (SAS), grid deformation,  solid-fluid interactions, thermo-fluids, renewable energy, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics, combustión, hydrodynamics, ocean engineering and multiphase flow.

 

Main Achievements :

Mr Rahman got used to be the Finnish national representative of Nordic Pilot Center for ERCOFTAC. He has been the invited reviewers for more than ten international well-known academic journals, such as AIAA Journal, Computers and Fluids, International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Journal of Fluid Mechanics ete., and has delivered scientific speeches in more that 20 international conferences.

He has studied theoretical systems of computational fluid dynamics, and put forward a series of basic theories about computational fluid dynamics and turbulence modeling. These theories are used to develop many CFD programs for solving complex fluid engineering problems. His contributions have been recognized by scientific scholars around the world as well as by many commercial companies.

As a major researcher and a leader of the research group, he has participated in a number of CFD research projects funded by the national technology research and development center in Finland (TEKES). He has worked with a series of world famous companies such as Nokia, Mesto, Patria Aviation, Andritz, Fortum and so on, and solved the fluid problems in many complex projects.

Relevant research results have been published in more than 80 journals/conferences, in which 68 papers have his name as the first author/corresponding author. Based on SCI Journal Quality, 9 of his papers are in JCR Q1 journals, 14 papers are in JCR Q2 journals. According to Google Scholar index, the number of his citation is 560.

 


Md Mizanur Rahman先生现任杭州电子科技大学机械工程学院特聘教授一职。他于2000年获得芬兰赫尔辛基工业大学(现阿尔托大学)博士学位,此后一直在阿尔托大学任教,先后任助理研究员、副教授。20189月正式入职杭州电子科技大学担任教职。

Rahman先生主要从事计算流体力学及其工程应用方面的研究,是欧洲流体湍流及燃烧研究协会(ERCOFTAC)北欧理事会的芬兰理事,是AIAA JournalComputers and FluidsInternational JournalofHeat and Mass Transfer等十余种国际知名学术期刊的特邀审稿人。

他曾系统研究了应用计算流体力学的理论体系,提出了一系列流体动力学及相关的传热传质基础理论,并将计算流体力学理论和工程实际应用相结合,从工程实际与工业应用出发,针对复杂流体工程问题自主设计开发了多套计算流体力学程序,解决了工程与工业应用的一系列流体动力学问题,这些成果受到了世界各地学者以及众多商业公司的一致认可。他曾作为主要研究人员以及研究组负责人参与芬兰国家技术研发中心(TEKES)所资助的多项CFD技术研发项目,与NokiaMestoPatriaAviationAndritzFortum等一系列世界知名公司合作,解决了众多复杂工程中的流体问题:造纸行业中柔性结构中的湍流交换和流体动力学问题;电子设备中的传热问题;能源动力设备的射流控制;核电站总流体结构优化;装备过程中的流体问题等众多工程及机械装备所涉及的一系列流动控制及优化设计问题。相关研究成果先后发表高水平论文80余篇,其中一作及通信作者68篇,其中JCR一区论文9篇,JCR二区论文8篇。所发表文章受到国际上众多学者的关注,截止201811Google Schloar检索论文他引量达560次,其中单篇论文(一作及通信作者)他引次数74次。
